Notes: UPDATE Oct 27th 2025: Poor skinny Evie is home. She is still so skinny. They have gradually been increasing her food and finally have cut it from 4x daily to 3 times daily. Next week we will be increasing it from 1.5 cups to 2 cups 3x daily and she will be on that for a couple of weeks and then increase it by a half a cup on a regular schedule until we can get her weight up. This will be a long process but she will get there. I see us buying a lot of Purina Puppy Chow in the near future lol (yes Puppy Chow is better for weight gain).
UPDATE Oct 19th 2025: We have her lab results back. Amazingly she is heartworm negative, all organ functions look good and other than a little anemia and intestinal parasites, she is doing well. She is eating good and starting to put on a little weight. Oct 13th 2025: We received a notification that Nash Co had an emergency neglect situation. Welcome Evie as our newest member to the rescue. She is on her way to our vet to spend some time to make sure she stays stableClick here for information about the Great Dane breed

Adoption Application Form
Before you can adopt one of the dogs you need to complete our Adoption Application Form. Applications must be submitted and vetting/personal references must be checked before an adoption is completed. You will not be able to adopt a puppy or dog if you do not have a verified application. Pre-approved applications have priority over new applications. Due to lack of volunteer time, we are only able to answer questions from prospective adopters that have filled out an application form.
